Montrose Cricket Club, who will field teams in the Western Province Cricket Association’s first division A, reserve league F, reserve league G, third division C and third division D during the 2015-16 season, have secured a new home ground.
Established more than 60 years ago, the Cape Town club adopted venues at Rocklands to Rylands, Pinelands and Claremont – and have finally settled in Observatory, at Malta Park.
Located on Fir Street, with plenty of contemporary office blocks as a backdrop, the ground is in close proximity to Hartleyvale Hockey Stadium.
