Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club have named the main oval after former Western Province Cricket Association president Arnold Bloch.

Bloch was chairman of Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club from 1975 to 1995 before becoming WPCA vice-president in 1998. He served as WPCA president for four years in the early 2000s.

Bloch added: “I am very humbled to have the main field named after me. I am grateful to my friends, family and fellow administrators, who have walked this path with me. I am really honoured.”
