Fast bowler Marvin Williams has joined the Cape Vikings for the 2022 Cape Premier League.
Williams previously represented the West Coast Outlaws in the CPL.
He plays for Claremont Cricket Club in Western Province Cricket Association premier league competition.
The Vikings, too, have retained wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Barnes, batsman Tayo Walbrugh and all-rounder Alistair Gray.
Barnes, Walbrugh and Gray represent Rondebosch Cricket Club in the WPCA premier league.

The Devil’s Peak Dragons are the reigning CPL champions. They beat the Atlantic Pirates in October 2021’s final.
The Vikings won the inaugural title in 2019, after beating the Hoeri Kwaggo Bulls in the final. The tournament was not played in 2020.
