The Peninsula Patriots have appointed Milnerton Cricket Club’s Robin van Harte head coach for the 2023 edition of the Cape Premier League.
Van Harte was key to Milnerton Cricket Club’s title-winning 2022-23 Western Province Cricket Association premier league campaign.
He also featured during Western Province Over-40’s title-winning campaign at last month’s inter-provincial tournament in Johannesburg.
Van Harte has succeeded former Peninsula Patriots head coach George Plowman.
The 2023 edition of the CPL is scheduled for late September to early October. The tournament will be preceded by a player auction in June.
