Bellville Cricket Club have appointed head coach Mark Giger ahead of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Giger has succeeded former Bellville Cricket Club head coach Paul Jacobs.
Giger has worked with Bellville Cricket Club previously. This will be his second term as head coach.
“I’m happy to be back and looking forward to working with the talented individuals and looking forward to the coming season,” Giger told Club Cricket SA.
Bellville Cricket Club have recruited seamer Brandon Viret, spinner Kai Chetty, all-rounder Philip Kleynhans. The trio have joined from Brackenfell Cricket Club.
Bellville Cricket Club have also signed all-rounder Lehan Botha.
“We have been fortunate to attract a number of top-class cricketers, who will add value and assist the club going forward,” added Giger.
