Titans all-rounder Neil Brand has joined Irene Villagers Cricket Club ahead of the 2025-26 Titans Cricket Union premier league.
Brand’s availability for Irene Villagers Cricket Club will be subject to his Titans commitments in the T20 Challenge, One-Day Cup and 4-Day Domestic Series.
Brand captained South Africa during 2024’s Test series in New Zealand.
Irene Villagers Cricket Club are the reigning Titans Cricket Union premier league champions – and have also signed former South Africa Under-19 cricketer Divan de Villiers.
“We’re excited to announce Neil Brand as our newest signing ahead of the upcoming season. Class. Experience. Leadership,” stated Irene Villagers Cricket Club on social media.
“Welcome to the Villagers family, Divan. An exciting all-rounder who has worn the SA Under-19 colours. We’re thrilled to have you on board for the season ahead.”
Meanwhile, former Titans batsman Joshua van Heerden has joined Rondebosch Cricket Club in the Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Van Heerden’s availability for Rondebosch Cricket Club will be subject to Western Province commitments. He has signed a two-year contract with WP after joining from the Titans.
