The International Cricket Council have announced the total prize money for the 2021 to 2023 cycle of the World Test Championship.
The total is $3.8 million (approximately R74.9 million), which is the same amount as the 2019-21 cycle, and will be shared between nine countries.
Australia and India will contest the 2021-23 World Test Championship final next month. The winner will receive $1.6 million (approximately R31.5 million) and the runner-up $800,000 (approximately R15.7 million).
That leaves $1.4 million (approximately R25.6 million) for the remaining seven countries.
South Africa will get $450,000 (approximately R8.8 million) for finishing the 2021-23 World Test Championship in third position.
Fourth-placed England will receive $350,000 (approximately R6.9 million). Fifth-placed Sri Lanka will get $200,000 (approximately R3.9 million).
New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies and Bangladesh, who finished in sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth position, respectively, will receive $100,000 (approximately R1.8 million) each.
