India Legends defeated South Africa Legends by 57 runs in Saturday’s 2021 Road Safety World Series fixture in Raipur.
Half-centurions Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh powered India to a final total of 204 for three in 20 overs.
Tendulkar’s 60 spanned 37 deliveries, while Yuvraj struck seamer Zander de Bruyn for four consecutive sixes en route to 52 not out from 22.
Seamer Monde Zondeki claimed figures of two for 35. Fellow seamer Garnett Kruger took the other wicket.

South Africa’s reply enjoyed a promising start on the back of an 87-run alliance inside 11 overs from openers Andrew Puttick and Morne van Wyk.
Puttick and van Wyk fell in quick succession for 41 and 48, respectively, though.
Captain Jonty Rhodes (22 not out) didn’t get enough support in the middle order, as South Africa ended with an insufficient 148 for seven.
South Africa Legends’ next match will be against Bangladesh Legends on Monday at the same venue.
The tournament also includes Sri Lanka Legends, who are captained by Tillakaratne Dilshan, West Indies Legends, who are led by Brian Lara, and England Legends, whose captain is Kevin Pietersen.
