2015-16 Gauteng Cricket Board awards: Club Cricket winners

Donovan ScholtzWanderers Cricket Club's Donovan Scholtz was named Club Bowler of the Year – A section.

Wanderers Cricket Club’s Donovan Scholtz and Martin Coetzee won the A section Club Bowler of the Year and A section Club Batsman of the Year, respectively, at the 2015-16 Gauteng Cricket Board awards ceremony in Johannesburg on Thursday, 12 May 2016.

Pirates Cricket Club’s Matthew Parr clinched the prestigious A section Club Cricketer of the Year accolade, while Imraan Manack of Croxley Wits Cricket Club secured the B section Club Cricketer of the Year award.

The University of Johannesburg Cricket Club were named Club of the Year – and Randfontein Cricket Club were given the Fair Play Award.

“Each award is testament to hard work, many hours and a clear determination to succeed. A special thank you to the supporters and participants of our amateur cricket section. We need this leg of our company to be as healthy as possible to ensure the future of the GCB,” said Gauteng Cricket Board president Thabang Moroe.
