Four Western Province representatives have been named in the the South Africa Under-19 Emerging squad for this month’s tour of Zimbabwe.
Western Province’s Daniel Bosman, Paul James, Luke Kleinsmith and Adnaan Lagadien are among the 15-player squad, which will contest five limited-overs fixtures in Bulawayo from 20 to 29 September 2024.
“This tour is part of Cricket South Africa’s ongoing commitment to nurturing and developing young cricketing talent in preparation for future tournaments, including the International Cricket Council’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026,” read a statement from CSA.
“Under the guidance of SA Under-19 head coach Malibongwe Maketa, the tour will provide the selected group of 16- and 17-year-old players with an invaluable opportunity to gain experience in high-pressure match situations against competitive opposition.”
