Sri Lanka A moved to 257 for seven on day one of this week’s four-day fixture against South Africa A in Hambantota.
Monday’s play only yielded 66 overs due to rain.
Spinner Senuran Muthusamy completed figures of five for 101 in 26 overs. It is his 13th five-wicket innings haul in first-class cricket.
This is Muthusamy’s third five-wicket innings haul of the two-match series. He claimed seven for 122 and five for 53 in last week’s series opener at the same venue.
