South Africa Legends’ 2021 Road Safety World Series campaign ended in defeat to Sri Lanka Legends in Friday’s semi-final in Raipur.
South Africa enjoyed a promising start en route to 80 for two inside a dozen overs. Opener Morne van Wyk welcomed a successive half-century.
They lost their last eight wickets for 45 runs, though, to collapse to 125 all out. Sri Lanka seamer Nuwan Kulasekara claimed a five-wicket haul.
