Left-arm seamer returns to Warriors after one season with Border

Left-arm seamer Aphiwe Mnyanda has returned to the Warriors for the 2025-26 domestic season in South Africa.

Mnyanda left the Warriors in the first division for one season with Border in division two.

He was Border’s highest wicket-taker in the 2024-25 One-Day Cup, division two.

The Warriors have also signed seamers Gideon Peters and Kerwin Mungroo from North West, batsman Modiri Litheko from Northern Cape and spinner Thomas Kaber from South Western Districts.

Head coach Robin Peterson and assistant coach Mark Charlton have been retained – and seamer CJ King’s contract has been upgraded.

Seamers Alfred Mothoa and Renaldo Meyer, all-rounder Beyers Swanepoel and batsman Diego Rosier have left the Warriors. Mothoa, Meyer and Swanepoel have joined North West, the Tuskers and Lions, respectively. Rosier has also joined North West.
