Former Proteas batsman Ashwell Prince led Victoria Cricket Club to a seven-wicket win over Green Point Cricket Club in the 2021-22 Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league this week.
Prince took three catches as Victoria Cricket Club limited Green Point Cricket Club to a final total of 126 for seven in 20 overs.
He then hit an unbeaten 46 from 44 deliveries, including four fours, as Victoria Cricket Club won with 10 deliveries to spare.

Prince represented Gelvandale Cricket Club in Port Elizabeth and Victoria Cricket Club in Cape Town en route to an international career that yielded 66 Test and 52 ODI appearances.
He then moved into coaching with the Cape Cobras and, more recently, Bangladesh.
The Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league has featured other former Proteas, too, including Peter Kirsten Louis Koen and Alan Dawson.
