Avendale Cricket Club have appointed the influential Kyle Prince as head coach ahead of the 2015-16 season.
Prince, whose résumé includes fruitful stints at Pinelands High School, Westerford High School and Rondebosch High School in Cape Town, South Africa – and Ballymagorry Cricket Club in Ireland – will be aided by assistant coach Trevor Timm.
“I hope my coaching experience will be able to help all players at the club have a successful season. My coaching philosophy is to work hard and play smart and this will be our plan,” the 27-year-old Prince was quoted as saying by Cricket Europe relatively recently.
Based in the suburb of Athlone, Avendale Cricket Club will field teams in the Western Province Cricket Association’s first division A, reserve league B, reserve league D, third division A and third division C this year.
