Seamer Basheer Walters has joined South Western Districts for South Africa’s 2022-23 domestic season.
Walters has moved from Western Province – and also previously represented the Warriors and Eastern Province.
“The signing of the experienced 36-year-old seam bowler was confirmed as he joined the squad the past week in preparation for the upcoming season,” read a statement from South Western Districts Cricket.
“Piet Botha, the head coach of the Badgers, said that Walters will bring a lot of experience and ability to take wickets.”
South Western Districts were renamed Garden Route Badgers last month – and compete in division two of South African domestic cricket.
