Left-arm seamer Beuran Hendricks was named in South Africa’s XI for Tuesday’s second ODI against India at St George’s Park in East London.
Hendricks was added to the squad this week after all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo and seamer Ottneil Baartman were sidelined by injury.
This is Hendricks’ first ODI since April 2021.
India lead the three-ODI series one-nil after victory at the Wanderers in Johannesburg last week.
The third ODI will be hosted by Boland Park in Paarl on Thursday.
South Africa and India will start a two-Test series later this month.
They completed a win each and shared a washout in the T20I series earlier this month.
