Batsman Janneman Malan will leave Boland ahead of the 2024-25 domestic season in South Africa.

Malan, who has played 23 ODIs and 11 T20Is for South Africa, has joined North West.

“We’ve mutually agreed to terminate Janneman’s contract. We part on good ways. We love him,” Boland chief executive officer James Fortuin told Rapport.

Pieter Malan will now stay on here at the province.”

Boland, meanwhile, have signed batsmen Grant Roelofsen and Blayde Capell. Roelofsen and Capell previously played for the Dolphins and South Western Districts, respectively.

Seamer Keith Dudgeon has also joined Boland from the Tuskers.

“We’re looking to refresh the squad considerably in the off-season. We’ve been called an old age home – that hurts,” added Fortuin.
