Boland have belatedly added leg-spinner Shaun von Berg’s name to the list of contracted players ahead of the 2025-26 domestic season in South Africa.
Von Berg has retained a contract. His name was not listed among 21 earlier this week, but was eventually added.
The 38-year-old von Berg played one Test for South Africa in 2024 – and has taken 515 wickets during a 16-year first-class career.
Boland have signed batsman Jhedli van Briesies from the Titans. Batsman Michael Copeland has left Boland for Border in division two.
Boland were the last of the 15 teams – eight in division one and seven in division two – to announce the contracted squad.
Boland ended the 2024-25 4-Day Domestic Series in fourth position, ahead of the Knights, Warriors, North West and Western Province.
Boland were runners-up in the 2024-25 One-Day Cup, division one. They lost the final to the Dolphins.
In the 2024-25 T20 Challenge, Boland ended in fifth position after three wins and three defeats.
Head coach Justin Ontong and assistant coach Henry Williams have been retained.
