Border head coach Paul Adams will not be re-contracted for the 2023-24 domestic season in South Africa.
Border acting chief executive officer John Korkie confirmed the end of Adams’ tenure, which started in 2021.
Whether Adams will reportedly replace former Boland head coach JP Duminy remains in the balance. Duminy has joined the Proteas coaching staff.
Adams was previously head coach of the Cape Cobras – and played 45 Tests and 24 ODIs for South Africa.
Border compete in division two of South African domestic cricket.
They have recently lost batsman Josh van Heerden to the Titans and fast bowler Gideon Peters to North West in division one.
