Spinner Brad Petersen reached a milestone for Durbanville Cricket Club recently.
Last week’s Western Province Cricket Association premier league fixture against Western Province Cricket Club was Petersen’s 100th first XI cap for Durbanville Cricket Club.
“This is a very prestigious achievement and we are very proud of you and your great team spirit. Congratulations on your 100th DCC first XI cap,” read a statement from Durbanville Cricket Club.
Petersen has won multiple titles with Durbanville Cricket Club, including this year’s T20 Community Cup.
He was the third-highest wicket-taker in the 2023-24 WPCA premier league. In the 2022-23 WPCA premier league, he was the fourth-highest wicket-taker.
Petersen joined Durbanville Cricket Club from Cape Town Cricket Club in 2020. He had previously represented Hermanus Cricket Club.
