Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club name captain and gain seamer from Clares Cricket Club

Former first-class seamer Vyash Gobind has been named captain of Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club, ahead of the 2020-21 KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union premier league.

Gobind was with Clares Cricket Club before joining Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club for the 2019-20 season.

The last of the 35-year-old seamer’s 21 first-class appearances was for KwaZulu-Natal in 2017. He had debuted in 2005.

The club have also recruited former Clares Cricket Club player Yergesh Naidoo.
