Hottentots Holland Cricket Club’s Abdul Temoor is February 2016’s penultimate Club Cricket SA Player of the Week.
Temoor scored a superb century and clinched a telling 10-wicket haul in 13 and 20 February’s crucial Western Province Cricket Association first division C fixture against Seacrest Cricket Club.
The hard-hitting right-hander’s 117 featured eight fours and two sixes. His prolific leg-spin, meanwhile, secured five first- and five second-innings wickets – for a final match haul of 10 for 117.
The 33-year-old’s fine all-round performance led the visitors to a relatively comfortable victory – and received plenty of praise from Hottentots Holland Cricket Club chairman Fahdil Crombie.
“We, at HHCC, are very proud of Abdul’s achievements – not only in this game, but his consistent dedication to his fellow players and club is priceless,” Crombie told Club Cricket SA.
