Former Montrose Cricket Club and current Milnerton Cricket Club seamer Mthiwekhaya Nabe has been named in the Cape Cobras’ XI for this week’s Sunfoil Series fixture against the Warriors at Newlands in Cape Town.
Nabe has taken 13 wickets in 10 first-class matches for Western Province, with a career best of four for 48 against KwaZulu-Natal Inland earlier this year.

The talented right-armer left Montrose Cricket Club for Milnerton Cricket Club before the start of the 2017-18 Western Province Cricket Association season – and played in the opening round of Ama20 Competition fixtures.
Nabe proved expensive and went without a wicket in defeat to the University of the Western Cape Cricket Club – and triumph over Ottoman Cricket Club. He fared substantially better against Western Province Cricket Club, however, snaring the key wicket of opener Benjamin Schaffer in victory for the visitors.
