Cravenby Cricket Club announce another return – this time from WPCA premier league

Seamer Shaikh Ahmed Parker has returned to Cravenby Cricket Club ahead of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association first division C.

Parker previously represented Rylands Cricket Club in the WPCA premier league.

He has joined batsman Mubashier Vallie in returning to Cravenby Cricket Club. Vallie has exited Pinelands Cricket Club in the WPCA first division A.

“Both players started their cricketing career at Cravenby Cricket Club and progressed further as they moved to other clubs. We welcome them with open arms and are excited to see them back,” read a statement from the club.

Earlier this month, Cravenby Cricket Club announced the return of former Cape Cobras duo Shaheen Khan and Yaseen Vallie.

Khan and Vallie have left United Cricket Club and Pinelands Cricket Club, respectively. Vallie is currently contracted by Western Province.

Meanwhile, seamer Colin Theron has also joined Cravenby Cricket Club. He was previously with Pinelands Cricket Club.

Cravenby Cricket Club ended the 2022-23 WPCA first division C in seventh position. They won seven matches and lost 10, with one no-result.
