All-rounder Yaaseen Solomon has joined Cravenby Cricket Club ahead of the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Solomon previously played for Bonteheuwel Cricket Club. He is their reigning Player of the Year.
“I am happy with the decision I have made and I am excited for the challenge ahead,” said Solomon.
“Things ended smoothly with Bonteheuwel and we ended on a high last season.
“I am grateful to the role Graham October played in my career while I was at Bonteheuwel.”
Cravenby Cricket Club have been promoted to the 2025-26 WPCA first division A after winning the 2024-25 first division B title.
Cravenby Cricket Club are coached by former Western Province batsman Yaseen Vallie and captained by former Cape Cobras fast bowler Francois Plaatjies.
They have also signed all-rounder Keenan Dalwai from Milnerton Cricket Club.
