Cricket South Africa have announced the squad for this month’s high performance skills camp in Pretoria.
Proteas cricketers Ruan de Swart, Zubayr Hamza, Tshepo Moreki, Sinethemba Qeshile, Lesego Senokwane and Raynard van Tonder have been named in the 30-man squad.
The Warriors, Lions, North West and Western Province have the most representatives with five each. Boland, the Titans and Dolphins have four, three and two representatives, respectively. The Tuskers have one.
The camp will run from 8 to 12 January 2026 at CSA’s Centre of Excellence – and will be overseen by South Africa A head coach Wandile Gwavu and Proteas bowling coach Piet Botha.
“The five-day camp will bring together a group of 30 players from across the domestic cricket landscape, as well as members of the South Africa A set-up, providing a platform for the continued development and alignment with national performance standards,” said head of high performance Grant van Velden.
“We’re really looking forward to this skills camp taking place later this week in Pretoria. It presents an invaluable opportunity for these players who are currently not involved in SA20 to further develop their skills across the longer format of the game, while also aligning themselves towards the national strategy as we look ahead to the period leading up to 2027 and beyond towards 2031.”
