The 2022 tour will comprise three ODIs, three T20Is and three Tests.

- Third T20I, Southampton – Sunday, 31 July
Tests
- First Test, London, Lord’s – 17 to 21 August
- Second Test, Birmingahm – 25 to 29 August
- Third Test, London, The Oval – 8 to 12 September
What CSA director of cricket Graeme Smith said
“It’s exciting to have finalised the England tour. Competitive cricket for our national teams is vital for their growth and progress and a tour of England is one of the bigger challenges that our players will face, particularly with their fully-vaccinated crowds backing the home team,” said Smith.
“We have a bumper season ahead for the men’s team that we are thrilled to be announcing soon, with some really exciting match-ups, along with another T20 World Cup in the mix.
“Game time is going to be crucial for the ultimate success of this team as they also begin a new season of the World Test Championship and continue the road to the 2023 World Cup through the World Cup Super League.”
