Cricket South Africa have confirmed the fixtures for the 2021-22 One Day Cup.
The tournament will comprise division one and two teams – and will be played at several venues, from 11 March to 6 April.
This is unlike the recent CSA T20 Challenge, which featured only division one teams and was played at one venue.
Western Province’s opening One Day Cup fixture will be against North West in Potchefstroom.
Their first home game of the tournament, at Newlands, will be against the Warriors. Whether spectators will be allowed to attend remains in the balance.

Spectators allowed?
“While the previous season’s competition was played in a bio-secure environment, spectators will this year get to attend the matches at selected venues throughout the tournament,” read a statement from Cricket South Africa.
“Each venue will be permitted to allow a maximum of 1500 fully-vaccinated spectators at their own discretion.
“Spectators aiming to attend stadia will be required to provide proof of identification and a vaccination certificate, with the exception of children under the age of 12 years old who are allowed to attend without proof of vaccination.”
‘Slowly moving back to normal times’
CSA acting chief executive officer Pholetsi Moseki added: “This is a very exciting time for our domestic cricketers and cricket lovers at large around the country as we are slowly moving back to normal times.
“This tournament has always provided opportunities for our domestic cricketers to showcase their talent and this year will be no different as it offers a larger talent pool with the competition running for the two divisions.
“Our stadia will evaluate the readiness and feasibility to host supporters based on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and applicable regulations.”
