Seamer Diego du Plessis has left Victoria Cricket Club for Kraaifontein Cricket Club.

Kraaifontein Cricket Club confirmed the move, which puts du Plessis in the Western Province Cricket Association premier league, while Victoria Cricket Club have been relegated from the WPCA first division A to first division B.

Du Plessis was capped twice at first-class level by Western Province in 2019.

Victoria Cricket Club have also lost batsman Reece Kensley to Cravenby Cricket Club.

Kraaifontein Cricket Club ended the 2022-23 WPCA premier league in eighth position with six wins, 12 defeats, three no-results and one tie.

Kraaifontein Cricket Club have also recruited all-rounder Elliot Moses from Green Point Cricket Club and Western Province-contracted seamer Mthiwekhaya Nabe.

They will work alongside Western Province Colts coach Roger Telemachus, who also coaches at Kraaifontein Cricket Club alongside head coach Jeandre Jumat.
