Wicketkeeper-batsman Slade van Staden has been added to MI New York’s squad for the rest of this month’s inaugural edition of Major League Cricket in the United States of America.
Van Staden has been capped at first-class level by the Dolphins and KwaZulu-Natal Inland in South Africa. He has also represented USA Under-19.
MI New York currently occupy fourth position in the six-team MLC standings with two wins and two defeats.
Van Staden will be team-mates with South Africans Dewald Brevis and Kagiso Rabada, Australian batsman Tim David, New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult and other international stars at MI New York.
