What Jon-Jon Smuts said

“I felt a change would be really good for me and obviously being an Eastern Cape boy and growing up on the coast I was looking for somewhere that would have similar conditions and atmosphere,” he said.

“I have really enjoyed every time I have come to play the Dolphins here, so it is an exciting move for me and something that I couldn’t turn down.

I want to win trophies with the Dolphins. The Dolphins have a proud history of being a very successful team, so for me it is about trying to add to the trophy cabinet.”

What Kelly Smuts said

“I know there is an element of risk for the Northern Cape signing a player who has been out of the professional game for a year. But I’m excited to repay the faith they have shown in me.” he told Club Cricket SA.

“My time at South Western Districts was short-lived, but it was good. I enjoyed being there, I wanted to stay, but it didn’t pan out accordingly.”
