The Western Province Cricket Association have released the first draft of fixtures for the 2022-23 club season.

These are not the final fixtures. Some will change via a second and final draft from the WPCA after feedback from affiliated clubs.

Selected opening fixtures in first draft

In the WPCA premier league, reigning champions Durbanville Cricket Club host the University of the Western Cape Cricket Club on 22 October. Bellville Cricket Club, who ultimately were not relegated to the first division A, host Rylands Cricket Club on the same date.

In the first division A, newly-promoted Avendale Cricket Club host Vikings Cricket Club, which formed after Elsies River Cricket Club and Glamorgan Cricket Club amalgamated. Victoria Cricket Club, who were relegated from the premier league, host the University of Cape Town Cricket Club.

In the third division A, Rylands Cricket Club host Cravenby Cricket Club – and Wynberg Cricket Club travel to Bergvliet Cricket Club – on 22 October.

In the third division B, Milnerton Cricket Club travel to Belhar Cricket Club on 22 October – and Green Point Cricket Club host Somerset West Cricket Club.
