Edgemead Cricket Club are hiring a new head coach ahead of the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Former head coach Linton Phillips left during the 2024-25 season. Batsman Daryn-Lee Dorman filled the role on an interim basis after Phillips’ exit.
Edgemead Cricket Club have been promoted to the 2025-26 WPCA first division A after ending the 2025-25 first division B in second position. They won 14 and lost four matches.

“With us getting promoted and playing in the WPCA first division A next season, we require an experienced coach that can take the team and club to the next level,” said Edgemead Cricket Club chairman Lawrie Snyders.
Edgemead Cricket Club are the reigning WPCA first division B T20 champions. They have won the title for four consecutive seasons.
