Former Proteas batsman Farhaan Behardien has joined Boland for South Africa’s 2022-23 domestic season.
The Knights announced Behardien’s departure earlier this month. Cricket Boland chief executive officer James Fortuin confirm Behardien’s arrival this week.
“Farhaan will join us for one season, yes,” Fortuin told Club Cricket SA.
“He can add a lot to our middle order.”

Behardien played 59 ODIs and 38 T20Is from 2012 to 2018.
He later joined Durham in English county cricket. The end of the Kolpak ruling and the coronavirus pandemic effectively ended his Durham stay prematurely.
Boland’s 2021-22 campaign
Boland finished in fifth position in division one of the 2021-22 4-Day Domestic Series.
They ended second-last in the first division of the One Day Cup and occupied third position in the T20 Challenge.
Overall, Boland are in third position among Cricket South Africa’s current promotion-relegation standings.
