The Knights have confirmed the contracts of batsman Farhaan Behardien, wicketkeeper Mangaliso Mosehle and spinner Gregory Mahlokwana will not be renewed for South Africa’s 2022-23 domestic season.

Behardien and Mosehle featured in the Knights’ One Day Cup campaign earlier this month.

Mahlokwana had not represented the Free State-based team since the T20 Challenge in February 2022.

Thank you for your contribution. Behardien, Mosehle and Mahlokwana will not be renewing their contracts for the coming season,” read a brief statement from the Knights on social media.

The 31-year-old Mosehle and 38-year-old Behardien, who have played for the Proteas, were contracted by the Knights in early 2021.

Behardien had left the Titans to join Durham in English county cricket. That was ultimately stifled amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Mosehle had previously played for the Cape Cobras, Titans and Dolphins.

The 27-year-old Mahlokwana had joined the Knights from the Titans – and represented the Cape Town Blitz in the Mzansi Super League.
