- 22 June, 7:20pm: The Atlantic Pirates have retained a few of the tournament’s top performers.
- 22 June, 9:20am: Also before the player auction, the Cape Vikings have traded a wicketkeeper-batsman for a seamer with the Bo-Kaap Phantoms.
- 21 June, 5:30pm: Reigning champions Devil’s Peak Dragons have retained six players – and gained batsman Qaasim Salie. The Dragons will complete the 16-man squad at the auction.

The women’s player auction will start 5:15pm on Friday, 23 June 2023. The men’s player auction will follow at 6:30pm. Both will happen at Western Province Cricket Club in Cape Town.
