South Western Districts have named former Cape Cobras seamer Gurshwin Rabie assistant coach ahead of South Africa’s 2021-22 domestic season.
Rabie has succeed former SWD assistant coach Jason Maswanganyi, who was appointed in May 2021 but has since accepted a role at Easterns.
Rabie will work alongside SWD head coach Alan Kruger.
SWD have been placed in division two of the country’s new domestic structure, which has returned to top-tier provincial cricket. Franchise competition has been dissolved.
