Former Knights all-rounder Shadley van Schalkwyk is currently playing for the Lumbini All Stars in the Nepal T20 League.
Van Schalkwyk was named player of the match after scoring 31 not out from 11 deliveries, taking three for 27 and holding two catches in victory over the Pokhara Avengers this week.
The tournament features several international cricketers, including Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, Sri Lanka’s Upul Tharanga, West Indian Chadwick Walton, Pakistan’s Hussain Talat and more.
Earlier this year, van Schalkwyk won the second edition of the Minor League Cricket Championship in the United States of America with the Seattle Thunderbolts.
Van Schalkwyk played franchise cricket for the Knights in South Africa before relocating to the USA.
