Ottoman Cricket Club have named former Proteas batsman Farhaan Behardien head coach.
Behardien has a longstanding relationship with Ottoman Cricket Club. He has succeeded brother Taariq Behardien, who has resigned as coach but will continue to play.
“Farhaan brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience,” read a statement from Ottoman Cricket Club.
“Having started his senior career at the club almost 26 years ago, the club is excited to welcome him back home.
Ottoman Cricket Club have returned to the first division A after finishing in last position in the 2022-23 premier league.
“We are confident Farhaan will take us to new heights. We look forward to the value he will undoubtedly add to the club, especially with the younger members making their way in the club,” added Ottoman Cricket Club’s statement.
