Former Proteas batsman Ashwell Prince struck a century in Victoria Cricket Club’s Western Province Cricket Association reserve division A fixture against Green Point Cricket Club last week.
Prince came into bat after Victoria Cricket Club had lost both opening batsmen for ducks.
He moved to 149 not out in a final total of 252 for seven – and briefly batted with son Joshua Prince.
Earlier this year, Prince represented Victoria Cricket Club in the Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league.
