Former Springboks fullback Conrad Jantjes has been included in Boksburg Cricket Club’s squad for this week’s Lions Veterans Cricket League final.
Jantjes played 24 Test matches for South Africa from 2001 to 2008 – and has been key to Boksburg Cricket Club’s 2022-23 campaign.
Boksburg Cricket Club and Old Edwardians Cricket Club will contest the 2022-23 Lions Veterans Cricket League final at the Wanderers on Sunday, 25 June.
Glenvista Cricket Club and Benoni Northerns Cricket Club lost the Lions Veterans Cricket League semi-finals.

Other former Springboks are involved in veterans cricket around South Africa, too.
Former flyhalf Louis Koen played for Boland Over-40 last month – and has been selected for South Africa Over-40 Invitational.
Former fullback Russell Bennett is South Africa Over-40 manager.
Former Proteas in veterans cricket
Old Edwardians Cricket Club, meanwhile, have named former Proteas all-rounder Zander de Bruyn in the squad for Saturday’s final.
Former Proteas batsman Ashwell Prince played for Western Province Over-40 recently – and will captain South Africa Over-40 later this year.
