Former Western Province seamer Siya Plaatjie welcomed a first-class debut for the Warriors in early March 2023’s 4-Day Domestic Series fixture against the Titans at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth.
Plaatjie is also involved in the Warriors’ ongoing 4-Day Domestic Series fixture against Western Province at Newlands in Cape Town. He took a five-wicket haul in the first innings.
He made one List A appearance for Western Province in March 2022 before moving to the Warriors. Plaatjie has a high performance contract at the Warriors.
