Pinelands Cricket Club have signed former Cape Cobras batsman Cebo Tshiki for the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Tshiki was St Augustine Cricket Club captain in the 2024-25 WPCA first division A.
He played 11 years of first-class cricket for the Cobras, Boland and Border from 2011 to 2022.
Pinelands Cricket Club ended last season’s WPCA first division A in fifth position with 15 wins and seven defeats.
They have since signed leg-spinner Storm Matthews from Avendale Cricket Club and former Ottoman Cricket Club captain Mujahid Isaacs.

Elsewhere in the WPCA first division A, Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club confirmed signing all-rounders Morne Pentz and Qaasim Adams this week. Pentz has returned from Rondebosch Cricket Club, while Adams has joined from Primrose Cricket Club.
“We are happy to have Qaasim join us. Obviously he has his primary role as Western Province assistant coach, but he will add value as a player in our second XI – and, who knows, maybe our first team – when he is available,” read a statement from Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club.
“Adams has so much experience and expertise – and his addition to our playing and coaching system will bring plenty of value to everyone involved at the club.
“It’s his contribution as a player that will bring runs and wickets, but he has already been helping some of the players on a coaching front.
“We’re thrilled to have the incredibly talented Morne Pentz returning to Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club for the 2025-26 season. Can’t wait to see him light up the field in our home colours.”
