Several South African cricketers, capped at international level or not, have registered for Sunday’s player draft for next year’s The Hundred – the England and Wales Cricket Board’s new limited-overs tournament.
The Dolphins’ Sarel Erwee, Warriors’ Andrew Birch and the Lions’ Ryan Rickelton are among those uncapped at international level.
Nine Proteas cricketers have set reserve prices of R1 million-plus, while many others haven’t insisted on a value. South Africa’s Kolpak cricketers registered for the draft, including Lancashire’s Dane Vilas, Yorkshire’s Duanne Olivier, have not been listed.
