Fans will be allowed to attend Wednesday, 16 March 2022’s One Day Cup fixture between Western Province and the Warriors at Newlands in Cape Town.
However, some conditions for attendance have been stipulated. These include:
- Limited tickets available
- All fans must be fully vaccinated
- Present proof of vaccination status
- Entrance at Mariendahl Road
- Wear a mask
- No alcohol allowed

“Following a two-year absence due to the coronavirus pandemic, we will now welcome fans back to Newlands for the remaining home matches in the CSA One Day Cup competition,” read a brief statement from Western Province.
Western Province currently occupy fifth position in division one of the One Day Cup’s eight-team standings. They have one victory in two matches. They lost to North West before beating the Lions.
