Seamer Gideon Peters will join North West in division one of South African domestic cricket for the 2023-24 season.
Peters played for Border in division two last season.
He has been capped 17 times at first-class level since debuting for Northerns in 2018.
North West have also signed batsmen Wihan Lubbe and Raynard van Tonder from the Warriors and Knights, respectively.
Batsman JP King, all-rounder Juan James and seamer Renaldo Meyer, meanwhile, have left North West. Meyer and King have moved to the Warriors. James has joined Western Province on a rookie contract.
