Derbyshire batsman Harry Came has rejoined Claremont Cricket Club for the second half of the 2024-25 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
This will be Came’s fifth season with Claremont Cricket Club. He plays for Derbyshire in English county cricket – and averages 31 in first-class competition.
Claremont Cricket Club currently occupy fifth position in this season’s WPCA premier league. They have won six and lost three matches. Claremont Cricket Club won the 2022-23 WPCA premier league title.
They will be without Western Province batsman Daniel Smith for the rest of January and some of February. He has been signed by the Sunrises Eastern Cape for the third edition of the SA20.
Green Point Cricket Club, meanwhile, have Worcestershire wicketkeeper-batsman Gareth Roderick and Cape Town Cricket Club have Essex batsman Robin Das.
