Hottentots Holland Cricket Club’s preparation for the 2015-16 season will begin with a challenging fixture against the touring Marks Park Cricket Club, from Emmarentia in Gauteng, this month.
Captained by the authoritative Edwin Daniels and managed by the insightful Ameer Brinkhuis, HHCC’s first XI were promoted to the Western Province Cricket Association’s first division C on the back of a prolific 2014-15 season.
Talented quintet Warren Martin, Riyaad Oliver, Gasant Moller, Ridah Rhoda, Ebrahim Pedro – among several others – were particularly key to this success.
Established in 1952, the club will also field two teams in the third division A this year.
