Proteas all-rounder Marco Jansen has dropped five and six positions, respectively, in the International Cricket Council’s rankings for ODI all-rounders and bowlers.
Jansen was previously in 15th position, but has since moved to 20th in the all-rounder rankings. In the bowling rankings, he has dropped from 18th position to 24th.
Jansen took four wickets and scored three runs in three matches during the Champions Trophy earlier this month. South Africa exited the tournament at the semi-final stage.
Spinner Keshav Maharaj has fallen from second to fourth position in the ICC’s rankings for ODI bowlers. Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has remained in 16th position. Fast bowler Lungi Ngidi has climbed from 35th position to 33rd.
Batsman Heinrich Klaasen has dropped from third position to fourth in the ICC’s rankings for ODI batsmen.
Batsman Rassie van der Dussen has risen from 14th to 13th. Batsman David Miller has gone from 31st position to 26th.
Captain Temba Bavuma has moved from 33rd position to 32nd. Batsman Aiden Markram has dropped from 25th position to 29th. Opener Tony de Zorzi has fallen from 76th position to 78th.
India’s Shubman Gill is currently at the top of the ODI batting rankings. Sri Lanka spinner Maheesh Theekshana is in first position in the ODI bowler rankings. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai leads the ODI all-rounder rankings.
India won the 2025 Champions Trophy. They beat New Zealand in Sunday’s final.
